WIG Laos 11th Annual Photography Competition 2017
LAOS IN MOTION
WIG Laos’ 11th Annual Photography Competition is back with the theme ‘Laos in Motion’. The competition showcases photographs taken within Laos by Lao and international photographers and photography enthusiasts.
All entries will be featured in an exhibition and fundraising silent auction, and along with great prizes, 12 entries will feature in the 2018 WIG Calendar. All funds raised from the silent auction and sale of the WIG Calendar go towards health and education projects in Laos.
ENTRY GUIDELINES
- Photographs must have been taken within Lao PDR, within the theme ‘Laos in Motion’.
- Each person may enter a maximum of two (2) photographs. Please fill out one (1) entry form per photograph.
- The competition is open to all ages and levels of photography skills.
- Entry is 50,000LAK per photo for the general public; and 30,000LAK per photo for WIG members and students (students must provide ID or proof of age).
- Photographs must be submitted both in printed hard copy and high-resolution digital (see ENTRY FORM for detailed requirements).
- All photographs will be judged by an independent panel of professionals.
- Prizes: 1st Prize: 500,000LAK; 2nd Prize: 300,000LAK; 3rd Prize: 200,000LAK plus more.
- ENTRY DEADLINE: Thursday, June 15th by 17:00pm. All entries to be submitted at Monument Books, Rue Nokeokoummane, Vientiane.
