Lao Airlines To Resume All Domestic Flights Next Month

Lao Airlines will resume flights on all domestic routes next month after operations were suspended during April 1-19 to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Lao Airlines temporarily suspended all domestic flights in line with the government’s efforts to counter the Covid-19 pandemic and it now plans to resume flights on May 8.

Passengers can start reserving tickets through the the airlines’ offices or the call centre 1226 from May 4, according to a statement from the airlines.


The airlines has suspended most of its international flights due to a dramatic decline in passengers amid the global Covid-19 pandemic.

According to a statement issued by Lao Airlines on March 20, all flights to Seoul in South Korea, Hanoi and Ho Chi Min City in Vietnam, Phnom Penh in Cambodia, and many provinces of China have been suspended until April 30.

Services to Chengdu in China have been suspended until April 14, while flights to Danang in Vietnam have been indefinitely postponed, and flights to Bangkok and Chiangmai in Thailand suspended until April 20.
