Lockdown Extended Until 03 May !

Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith has extended the current lockdown for Laos until 3 May 2020.

“We have decided to extend the lockdown period under Prime Ministerial Order No. 06/PM, and all relevant regulations, by 14 days, until 3 May” says the Prime Minister in a press statement today.

The government ordered on 30th March 2020 to close all international checkpoints and prohibit public movement for non-essential activities to control the coronavirus pandemic as fears of outbreak escalated.
