Over 250 cc Motorbike Ban To Be Enforced

Authorities will enforce the ban on motorcycles over 250 cc for general use and their import into Laos.

The Ministry of Public Works and Transport will not register or provide license plates for the vehicles, Lao Phatthana newspaper reported Wednesday.

Meanwhile, officials also recently confiscated over 20 illegal motorbikes with fake registration documents and license plates.
