Properties - Houses for Rent

Houses in Laos vary greatly in terms of size, area, age and price.  The main factors influencing rental prices in Laos are the original price of the land, the previous rental price of the house and of course the rental price of other houses in the area. Location often has very little effect on the rental price and you will often find houses far away or on terrible roads fetching high rental prices.

Usually an older house, with very small garden. Possibly 2-3 bedrooms and bathrooms, basic furniture and kitchen appliances.

Properties in this bracket are similar to the above, but will generally be better allround, with improved kitchen facilities and larger garden.

These are often newer style houses, minimum 3 bedrooms, nicer garden and better bathrooms/kitchen.

These properties will sometimes have a fourth bedroom, and will most likely be in a popular locations for foreign tenants. You can expect better kitchens, bathrooms and a well kept garden.

You can expect similar features to the above price range, but the buildings will often be newer, with modern interiors, nice kitchens/bathrooms and a good sized garden.

$1500 +

           
     
As one would expect, these properties are generally much larger (often 5+ bedrooms), modern style buildings with large entertaining space. Some properties may have swimming pools or other unique features.
