World Record Pasalob Dance Held In Vientiane
The world record “Pasalob dance”, a Lao traditional culture, ever held in the Lao PDR took place at That Luang square on Saturday drawing more than 4,200 students.
Participants in yellow t-shirts danced and stepped simultaneously according to four hit Lao songs Euay Kor Ngarm Nong Kor Ngarm, Ying Lao Yuk Mai, Oh Duang Cham Pa and Sao Tane Piao. The objective of the event is not only to promote the preservation of Lao traditional culture and dance but also to make the Lao PDR and its customs internationally known.
