WIG Bazaar 2013
The Women’s International Group of Laos PDR (WIG) is a membership group consisting mainly of expat women and men. For over two decades WIG has provided services to enhance expat living in Laos PDR but more importantly, WIG has many members who Volunteer their time to delivering personal and financial assistance to Medical and Education Projects very effectively with passion and professionalism. To raise the money necessary to create these opportunities, WIG Volunteers go to great lengths to organize two major fund raising events each year in Vientiane. Our biggest event is the WIG Vientiane Bazaar.
The flow on effects from an event like the Bazaar are significant. WIG will use the money raised from the Bazaar to fund highly successful Education and Medical Welfare Projects which benefit Lao Communities throughout Laos PDR. WIG’s reputation as a funding and support organisation grows each year, leading to greater numbers of Schools and Medical patients who benefit from WIG Project funding, partnering and planning.
Each year, the highly successful WIG Bazaar brings together thousands of people from all walks of life within Vientiane, to eat, buy and sell, mingle and have fun amid a relaxed, fun atmosphere of local eateries, businesses big and small, International Organisations and Embassies. The support each year from these organisations and the public is nothing short of outstanding.
To the people of Vientiane, WIG would like to take this opportunity to inform you that the 2013 WIG Vientiane Bazaar will be held on the 23rd of November 2013 at the National University of Laos, Faculty of Engineering on Sokpaluang Road.
We hope very much that you can attend this event and show your support to your local Businesses, to the Women’s International Group’s hard working Volunteers and to help improve the lives of your fellow Lao Communities. Together we can make a difference.
