WIG Bazaar 2015: Stall Sale Dates
We’re happy to announce the dates for reserving stalls for the WIG Bazaar!
Stalls will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at JOMA PHONTHAN on the following six dates/times:
Monday, 12 October (9:00 – 11:00am)
Wednesday, 14 October (1:00 – 3:00pm)
Thursday, 15 October (9:00 – 11:00am)
Monday, 19 October (1:00 – 3:00pm)
Wednesday, 21 October (9:00 – 11:00am)
Friday, 23 October (1:00 – 3:00pm)
Stalls range in price from 800,000 kip ($100) for a non-powered stall in a regular location to 1,450,000 kip ($180) for a powered stall in a VIP location. In addition, we require a 300,000 kip deposit that will be refunded in full at the end of the bazaar if the stall area is left clean.
The WIG Bazaar will be held on 7 November, 2015 at the National University of Laos Faculty of Engineering grounds (near Sokpaluang Road), from 10:00 to 17:00.
The WIG Bazaar is an annual event promoting the international community that is free and open to the public. Embassies, international organizations and local businesses are invited to set up booths to share information and sell products such as handicrafts and food. There will also be stage performances, raffle with prizes, stalls selling baked goods and second-hand items, and a Children’s Corner.
All profits from the Bazaar are allocated to charitable activities benefiting underprivileged Lao people.
