WIG BAZAAR – THIS SATURDAY !!!
The WIG Bazaar is BACK on Saturday, 19 November 2016 at the Lao National University Faculty of Engineering, Sokpaluang Road, Vientiane from 10am to 6pm.
The WIG Bazaar is a popular and much-loved community event that is free and open to all members of the public. Attendees can expect stalls showcasing handicraft and information, delicious international food and drink, and other products including local Fair Trade wares and demonstrations.
The event also features all-day live music and entertainment, a raffle with over 150 great prizes, a Children’s Corner with fun games and activities for kids, and WIG’s popular Cake and Second Hand stalls.
The Bazaar is the primary annual fundraising activity for WIG Laos, a voluntary group of women and men of all nationalities based in Vientiane. All profits from the event are allocated to WIG’s health and education projects, which help disadvantaged people access medical care and support the construction of schools.
You can contribute to our fundraising efforts on the day by visiting the WIG Stall (next to the stage) to purchase raffle tickets, a WIG calendar or merchandise, by treating yourself to a delicious sweet from the WIG Cake Stall, bagging a bargain at our Second Hand Stall, or taking your kid’s to our fun Children’s Corner!
