Laos Sees Trade Deficit for Fifth Straight Month in May

Laos recorded a trade deficit of US$151 million in May, marking the fifth straight month of trade deficit in 2024.
The total value of trade in May amounted to over US$1.1 billion, of which US$483 million was for exports and 634 million dollars for imports, according to a report by the Lao Trade Portal website on Friday.
