New Hospital Opening – Bangkok Hospital Udon.It has long been a goal of the Bangkok Hospital Group to bring a higher standard of medical expertise and care toUdonthani and nearby provinces in Northeastern Thailand as well as the citizens of Laos. In December 2012, this goal became a reality after the Bangkok Hospital Group acquiredPanyavejinter Hospital, implemented extensive renovation, and changed the name to Bangkok Hospital Udon. New Cooperation for Emergency and Trauma Services in LuangPrabang Provincial Hospital.On November 22, 2012, Bangkok Hospital joined forces with the LuangPrabang Provincial Hospital, Phoumok Village, LuangPrabang City, Lao PDR, to run their emergency room and provide training tolocal doctors and nurses in areas such as IC, triage, BLS and ACLS. One Bangkok Hospital ER specialist, two Bangkok Hospital ER nurses, and an administrative manager are now on duty at the LuangPrabang Provincial Hospital to raise the level of emergency care and service available to patients, many of whom are international travelers. The cooperation between the hospitals also includes plans for peri and pre-natal care to Laotian women.
