Expressway Operator Applies New Security Measures

The expressway management committee just informed that all vehicles must show proof of valid motor insurance before being allowed onto the highway.

In addition, new access restrictions are applied, only allowing one vehicle every 10 minutes.

Last but not least, it is strictly forbidden for drivers to make “pee stops” along the route.

The new security measures are to prevent further accidents along the highway Vientiane – Vang Vieng. These new safety measures are immediately enforced, starting today 1st April 2021.
