We are thrilled to have Mr. Fabrice Decico as our new partner in our J&C Group as we continue to develop ever more promising opportunities. He has been working with the company, leading the J&C Insurance and Brokers, the foremost insurance broker here in Vientiane, Laos.
In an interview with Mr. Decico, he shared the key elements for building a strong relationship with the client, “In order for the company to prosper, we must ensure that our commitment to providing the best product and service is always at the forefront.”. Mr. Decico always makes sure he and his team give 100% support to each client for everybody has a distinct need.
As a degree holder in Business Administration and Business Management, Mr. Decico decided to work in Laos in 2016. He used to work in a back office of a large non-government organization in terms of finance, logistics, audit, human resources, and administration. By 2019 he started working with J&C as a temporary employee but got promoted to a Director position as early as 2020 for the exceptional performance he showed at work.
● HOW DID YOU FIND WORKING WITH J&C?
The opportunity to grow personally and professionally is always at the heart of the work ethic at J&C. Once you have proven yourself in the position, we will push the person to have new objectives and take on more responsibilities. And that is what is most satisfying in working with J&C.
● WHAT MOTIVATES YOU TO WORK?
My family primarily. I am married to a Lao lady and we have a son of 3 years who goes to the Lycee Francais. We are committed to stay in Laos for many years and be part of this vibrant community.
● WHAT STRUGGLES DID YOU FACE DURING THE TIME YOU WERE WORKING WITH J&C? AND HOW DID YOU OVERCOME THEM?
To learn all the different products and specifically their policy wordings. Each product has its specific conditions and it is important to know all of them in order to inform our customers. Thanks to the support of Mr. Stephan (President of J&C Group), the insurance team, the claim managers, and the CEOs of the insurance companies, I was able to quickly overcome this issue and I am still learning every day, as new questions can arise.
● WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR THE FUTURE OF J&C NOW THAT YOU’RE A PARTNER?
The plan is to grow the relationship with our insurance partners by working together to introduce new products. To reach out more to the international community and know more about the businesses implemented in Laos. And to be a voice for all the J&C activities, not only insurance, by providing good referrals.
● WHAT SHOULD PEOPLE EXPECT FROM YOU AS A PARTNER OF J&C?
To continue the legacy of professionalism, effectiveness, and dedication as the head of J&C Insurance Brokers that Mr. Stephan Aeschbach has passed on me.
● HOW DO YOU SEE J&C 5-10 YEARS FROM NOW?
J&C Group over the last few years has added various new activities and services. Our goal is to offer our customers more exclusive services to support them in their activities in Laos. We are already the most trusted partners when it comes to doing business in Laos and we want to apply this trust to new activities & services in the coming months and years.
Together with my colleague Lukasz (Partner J&C Group), I will support the continued growth of J&C Group, not only in the insurance division but also through our other activities in Marketing, Investment, and Real Estate Services. We now have our own team in Luang Prabang, allowing us to serve our customer base in Luang Prabang even better.
The J&C Group will continue to assist major projects and companies in Laos by providing a growing range of services. It’s my commitment to ensure the efficiency and professionalism of our team along with the commitment of the management team to train and extend each team member to their full potential, that’s what our clients are expecting from a leader in the market and that’s what we will deliver.
