Lao Asia Pacific Breweries Ltd Changes Name To Heineken Lao Brewery Co., Ltd

Lao Asia Pacific Breweries Ltd (LAPB) has officially changed its corporate identity to Heineken Lao Brewery Co., Ltd (HLB) with immediate effect.

The company was the second brewer to be granted a beer investment license by the Government of Laos and opened its brewery in Xaythany District, Vientiane Capital City in 2008. Heineken Lao Brewery has a strong portfolio of international and local beer brands including Heineken®, Tiger and Namkhong.

Heineken® is currently the best-selling International Premium beer brand in Laos, offering Lao consumers unique brand experiences through its global campaigns such as UEFA Champions League, Cities and Green Room.

Commenting on the corporate identity change, Managing Director of Heineken Lao Brewery, Thum Chee Yuen said, “We are delighted to change our corporate identity from Lao Asia Pacific Breweries Ltd to Heineken Lao Brewery. This clearly reflects to all our stakeholders our strong bond with the HEINEKEN Group. We believe this change in identity will have a positive impact on our business with our consumers, customers and other stakeholders”.
