Lao Food Festival 2024 to Take Place this January

Lao Food Festival entitled ‘Tasting Lao food visit Laos year 2024’, will take place at the Chao Anouvong Park in Vientiane on January 23-27.

President of the Lao Businesswomen’s Association, who is also chairwoman of the Organizing Committee for Lao Food Festival 2024, Mrs Chanthachone Vongsay told at a press conference in Vientiane on January 9.

The event is a part of the effort to preserve the unique traditional food and organic vegetables produced from local farms also available for sale to ensure that society to eat a clean and safe food.

It is expected to draw nearly 200 booths from handicraft and agricultural sectors as well as foods from different northern and southern parts of the country. 

The venue will also include various cultural performances like singing and dancing by prominent artists from the country.
