Lao Skyway Launches More Flights North

Lao Skyway, formerly Lao Air, has launched four more flights to Northern provinces Luang Prabang, Bokeo, Oudomxay, and Luangnamtha, according to Lao Skyway Director, Mr Bounma Chanthavong at press conference held last Friday.

Mr Bounma said that the company would operate its new routes with MA-60s, a small plane which can accommodate 56 passengers. He said his company would also provide a charter flight at reasonable prices.

“The air route addition is aimed at expanding our services to cover provinces across the country and to ensure the conveniences of customers,”said Mr Bounma.

For years, the Lao Skyway has operated 19-seater airplanes between Vientiane and three northern provinces including Phongsaly (twice per week), Xayaboury (twice per week) and Huaphanh (three times per week).
