Night Fashion Show To Unleash Young Designers’ Creations

The highly anticipated Night Fashion Show will be hosted by the Lao Young Designer Project this Saturday (April 28), 7pm at the Fountain Square in Vientiane.

Founder of Lao Fashion Week and President of Lao Young Designer Project, Ms Pany Saignavongs told Vientiane Times yesterday the fashion show will showcase creations from 12 young designers.

All the designers are finalists and award winners in the Lao Young Designer Project such as Mr Billy Siamphan, Mr Viseth and others.

Ms Pany said the one-hour fashion show aims to raise awareness about the Lao Young Designers Project and to encourage the many other talented young individuals out there who could make their fashion dreams come true by participating in the project.

The event is free entry for the public and there will be special reserved seating for invited guests such as ambassadors, sponsors and celebrities including the Lao Fashion Week 2018 brand ambassador.
After the show, guests will be invited to a cocktail reception at the Ministry of Silk.

Ms Pany urged the public to come along and enjoy the fashion show and if they think they have what it takes, she encouraged them to join the upcoming contest. Deadline for submissions is April 30.

Following the deadline, organisers will meet to select the top five from all the applicants. Members of the media will be invited to witness the selection process.
