SABAIDEE Magazine Turns Two

Lifestyle and travel publication Sabaidee Magazine has celebrated their 2nd Year Anniversary in March 2014, holding a party for clients, partners and supporters at Smile Dee Restaurant in Vientiane.

Sabaidee Magazine is a travel and lifestyle English and Lao language publication. It features articles on Laos’ urban centres, lifestyle, arts, culture, and Lao and ASEAN travel destinations.

The 2nd Anniversary event was attended by Mr Chaleune Warinthrasak, Vice-Minister, Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism, and Mr Somsanouk Mixay, Vice President of the Lao Journalists Association, along with valued clients and supporters, who were entertained by live music and contemporary and traditional dance performances.

The event was also a timely occasion to launch the magazine’s latest publication March Issue 14, which marks the move from bi-monthly to a monthly magazine.

The move to a monthly release has seen Sabaidee Magazine retain their signature engaging travel and lifestyle features taking in Laos and surrounding ASEAN destinations, and a more frequent release has also allowed for more emphasis on timely events and trends in Laos’ urban centres.

In addition to these exciting developments, the magazine has also increased its Lao language content, to match the frequency of English content. And of course they will continue to profile the best places to eat, see, sleep, shop and relax around the country.

The introduction of new lifestyle sections and a regularly updated listings directory for expats, Lao nationals and tourists alike means the magazine is more visible than ever.
Sabaidee Magazine is available for free in cafes, restaurants, spas, shops and hotels in Vientiane, Luang Prabang, Vang Vieng, Pakse, Savannakhet, and Thakhek, as well as cities in Thailand such as Bangkok, Nong Khai, Udon Thani, Mukdahan, Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai.
