Adverse Conditions Stop Poorer Countries Reaching Development Goals, Laos Tells UN

Armed conflicts, political unrest, pandemics, and environmental degradation have impeded efforts by the world’s least developed countries (LDCs) to accomplish the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in 2015.
