Top 3 Expos Of Laos Postponed To 2021 Due To Covid-19 Crisis

The organisers of the top three expos of Laos have announced that LaoBuild 2020, Lao Food & Hotel 2020 and LaoCafe 2020 have been rescheduled to June 17-19, 2021 in line with the government’s Covid-19-related restrictions.
The location for the exhibitions will remain unchanged – the National Convention Centre (NCC) at Km 6 in Vientiane.
According to the organisers, the decision was made on the advice of the government, Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Association of Lao Architects and Civil Engineers, Lao Hotel & Restaurant Association, and Lao Coffee Association – the host organisations of the Lao Top 3 Expo.
Even as the Covid-19 crisis gradually eases in Laos, social distancing norms and restrictions on international travel will limit the overall experience and results of the expos, according to AMB Tarsus Events Group, the key organiser of the event.
The three-day event was initially scheduled for June 11-13 but the Coronavirus outbreak resulted in the expos being scheduled for October 15-17.
The event was again rescheduled for June 17-19 next year to ensure it would not be affected by the existing restrictions on international travel.
The three-day event is expected to attract thousands of trade visitors and industry professionals from across Laos.
Last year, more than 150 companies and brands from Laos and 12 other countries, including China, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, participated in the expos and displayed their products, technologies and services.
The event also aims to create business matching opportunities between Lao and international firms.
Additionally, the exhibition will help participants leverage new opportunities to reach out to the rest of Asia and beyond.
LAOBUILD is set to be back next year at the prestigious NCC to meet the demand for technology, equipment and supplies as the building and construction sector continues with its rapid growth.
This event is seen as the perfect platform for attracting thousands of trade and professional visitors to explore business opportunities and view the latest products and innovations for their industries, including building and construction materials, hotel and restaurant supplies, and food and beverage products.
