Customer parking is available so that people can easily stop at the station to buy tickets, he added.

The new ticket sales outlet is a further symbol of the partnership between the Lao National Railway Enterprise and the Laos-China Railway Co., Ltd., and will make train travel easier for tourists and other passengers, Mr. Daochinda said.

The railway is an important strategic cooperation project between the Lao and Chinese governments. It has the potential to give a huge boost to the social and economic development of Laos and make rail travel between Laos, other ASEAN countries and China faster and better integrated, greatly improving both passenger and freight transport.
