THE WIG BAZAAR
The WIG Bazaar is an annual event promoting the international community that is free and open to the public. The last bazaar in November 2016 attracted over 14,000 visitors.
Embassies, international organizations and local businesses are invited to set up booths to share information and sell products such as handicrafts and food. There are also stage performances, raffle with prizes, stalls selling baked goods and second-hand items, and a Children’s Corner.
The WIG bazaar is the main fundraising activity for WIG. All profits from the bazaar are allocated to WIG’s charitable activities, which help disadvantaged people access medical care and support the construction of schools.
