The Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism (MOICT) has recently signed an agreement with BigBlue Agency Laos awarding them the preferred rights to setup all billboards related to the Visit Laos Year 2018 Campaign.
A ceremony was held during which Mr. Soun Manivong, Director General of the Tourism Promotion Department (MOICT) and Mr. Santhaluck Chasane, President of BigBlue Agency Laos and Mr. Savanhkhone Razmountry, Vice Minister of Information, Tourism and Culture were in attendance.
“This signing ceremony is particularly meaningful in that the Ministry has chosen leading company BigBlue Agency Laos as the preferred supplier/contractor of all billboards related to the Visit Laos Year 2018,” says Mr. Soun Manivong.
A total of 50 billboards will be installed across the country, especially in high traffic areas such as international border checkpoints, international airports, urban centers, and famous tourist destinations. The billboards are expected to be complete by February.
Additionally, BigBlue Agency Laos will contribute 232 million kip in advertising and media value (approximately USD $28,000) to the Visit Laos Year 2018 Campaign to assist in the promotion of Laos as a tourist destination.
