Many rental homes include a nice lush lawn that really brightens up
the yard and is great for kids to play in. But after a few months this can grow into a messy jungle if not properly maintained. What you need is a good lawn mower. In Laos these are not so easy to find. The best place to look is the Honda Centre on Settathirath Street. There you can purchase a petrol powered lawn mower or hedge trimmer. Otherwise, you can purchase an electric trimmer or push mower from certain stores in Thailand, such as Homepro in Udon Thani. Here you can find a gas powered mower for around 13,000 baht or an electric mower for 5000 baht. An electric trimmer costs 1490 baht.
